Chain of Responsibility

Chain of Responsibility2019-04-04T23:18:31+00:00

Under NHVR Law every party in the supply chain has a “duty” to ensure safe practices, rather than being liable for breaches detected. This approach is similar to Workplace Health & Safety Laws and is a significant step towards improving safety in the transport industry.

This requires an obligation to eliminate and minimise risk by doing everything “reasonable” to ensure transport activities are safe. These changes will mean that you are only accountable for the activities you manage and or control.
